"There’s also been quite a row, which I haven’t really followed, between the Russian and Polish governments. I didn’t even know there was a Polish government, but I presume it’s based in London. Anyway, the Polish government has demanded an investigation, through the Red Cross, of somedreadful mass graves in Katyn (I think it was called), where the Russians killed and buried 10,000 Polish officers after they annexed Poland.
